India was always a mysterious place to me that i wanted to visit. I love history and nature and this is what India mainly offers. It’s a continent with 18 official languages and tens of thousands of dialects . History is laying down in every corner. I’ve always wanted to visit India, all over no specific place. My role is to aim for all and do as much as i can.
One day i had quit my job and the first thing that crossed my mind is travelling. I had some plans with my indian friend about visiting india . I contacted him asking if he is still up for that plans and he said yes. Within 3 weeks we made it happen. It was march and the weather was great in most places but some places were a little bit hot.
It took me arround 3 weeks of planning. I had used Lonely Planet guide and some Internet websites. My plan was to rent a car and drive all the way so we won’t miss a spot in our trip but after i read about road conditions and driving in india generally i though renting a car with a driver will be a better idea. We decided to cover west india state by state. We covered not less than 90% of the states we had visited. We had used cars, buses, trains and domestic flights for transportation within India.
People were AMAZING everywhere and specially JAYADIVE. Am really really flexibleand easy going guy. My friend was trying to give an idea about what i’ll see and about how is life in India generally. He was affraid i won’t like it. He even made me watch “slumdog millionare” the movie to have an idea about how is the life there and i kept telling him am flexible, easy guy and i don’t care as long as we are following our plan or a head of it since we decide to visit alot of states.
Frankly, i had ONE main concern which was FOOD. What i will eat, where and hopefuly i won’t get sick. Getting sick will ruin our long hectic crazy trip, But THANK GOD my stomach was even better than my friends stomach 🙂 (say mashallah). I love indian food and i love spicy food. I suffer here in Kuwait when i order spicy food because it’s never spicy to me. Unlike in India where you have only one option which is very spicy and i liked it.
Our plan was 45 days from Kerala to Kashmire along the west coast covering all the states on the west coast and the north including Delhi the capital. Each state is more like a country.
