Our fifth day in Puerto Natales, the day of a good bye. The checkout is sometimes mid day as usual but because the hotel was empty, the staff was very generous with us. We asked for a half day morning easy trip, and they fixed us for a horse back riding trip. Again another amazing trip with this amazing hotel and staff.
The weather was very cold. We went on horses to the top of a mountain, we looked for a place to sit in the woods and sip the famous Argentinean Mate, kind of a herbal tea, with our guide and original Gaucho, cowboy. It was a perfect ending for an amazing experience in Puerto Natales, and I think what makes it amazing is the hotel we choose to stay in. which is going to be my next post.
Our next destination is Punta Arenas. The hotel offers a free private transportation to and from Punta Arenas, as I mentioned before there are seasonal flights and only 1 or 2 per week. It’s 4 hours drive to Punta Arenas and I remember nothing from that road because I slept.
Punta Arenas is the most southern city and port in Chile and the second in the world, Ushuaia – Argentina is the most south city in the world. Punta Arenas has nothing much to offer. We came to Punta Arenas for an Amazing thing to do, Something I will always talk about in my life as an achievement. Why do you think we came to Punta Arenas? you can only wait to know 🙂
We stayed only one night in Punta Arenas waiting for that thing. It is a nice small remote city and we had some nice memories there. I do not want to talk much about Punta Arenas, but I will leave you with some nice Pictures.
